Anza-Borrego Desert express Park in southern California is the largest state park in California and the back up largest state park in the United States (after Adirondack Park in New York). An Ohio man died as the prove of a Saturday accident at Silver Lake express lay. Edward Meadows. 33 of Ravenna. Ohio and Robert Johnson. 33 of Peotone. Ill were seriously injured. Johnson was listed in serious condition. It appears to investigators and witnesses at the scene that the ATV driven by Meadows turned left into the path of the dirt bike driven by Johnson. I thought I must be seeing a fire on attach Diablo. According to the reports everyone points to the blast is mostly north and somewhat east of Mount Sizer which puts it (mostly) outside of the most visited parts of the park. If the fire is advancing more east than north. I suppose it could be hitting Bear Mountain and the northern part of the Orestimba Wilderness. I can't wait to see a detailed map of the actual burned area. This is where relatively real-time satellite images would be useful. On June 14. 2007 the Washington express Parks and Recreation Commission renamed the Fort Worden cistern the “Dan Harpole Cistern” in honor of Harpole’s life and work in the arts. Halibut Point State Park sits on the northeast tip of Cape Ann in Rockport.
